Objective 5: Model competency in the various roles of field production, such as editing, color correction, and color grading, to create media projects using industry-standard post-production tools.
The Jacuzzi
Before and after color correction – Edited with Premiere Pro. This showcases how editing stuff such as sound effects to be muffled or the music being on cue for a key moment can strike a cord with the viewers. On top of that…Color correction can help change the overall feeling of the video, maybe giving it a warmer look then something cold and dull.
The Quest of The Magna Carta
Quest of the Magna Carta dives into complex camerawork to work with a green screen, lighting, color grading, color correction, transitions, and effects. Since this project was so heavy with green screen and Ultra keying, it was a prime opportunity to really learn how to use those tools and refine my skills in composition and post-production techniques. This video was edited with Premiere Pro.
Bingo Night
The following is the WIP screenshots of the project along with the Trailer I made.
The Bingo night film itself focuses heavily on editing as I’m taking raw footage I bought and turning it into my own edited version of the short film. Like the Jacuzzi, some key aspects when editing project like these is to edit it in a way that is engaging to the viewers and stands out. Moments with sound effects, music, and transitions can make videos more engaging. Applying these skills can help create a fun video while using industry standard post production tools.

Wolfenstein: When Legends Rise – Godsmack GMV
Gaming music videos were actually what got me into video editing. Through them, I had the chance to learn programs like LumaFusion and Premiere Pro. When I make these videos, I love to be literal with the lyrics, sync the visuals perfectly with the beat, and make everything interact with the audio. I’ve been making these kinds of videos since 2018, and over the years, I’ve only gotten better.
Marvel Avengers: In The End (MMV) – feat. Fleurie & Jung Youth – Tommee Profitt
In more recent years, I dove into making movie music videos. While I haven’t made too many and still focus on GMVs, I’ve taken the skills I learned from making GMVs and applied them here. By the time I made this video with Premiere Pro, I had a solid understanding of the program and was using different render tools, transitions, and effects. Just like with my gaming music videos, I try to be very literal with the visuals and lyrics while staying on beat. I also loved the parallels I did in the video, as they show strong editing technique.
